How often should I get dermaplaning?
The cellular turnover rate is every 28 days, so we recommend this treatment every 4 weeks.
Does the hair grow back darker or thicker after dermaplaning?
No, it does not! There will be no change to the hair colour or thickness upon regrowth.
Is there any downtime to dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning generally has little to no downtime. Most people can go right back to daily activities afterward.
That said, a few things are good to keep in mind:
Mild Redness: Your skin might look a bit pink right after, but it usually fades within a few hours.
Sensitivity: Skin can feel extra smooth but this fresh new skin is also more sensitive, especially to sun and active ingredients (like retinol, AHA/BHAs), so be mindful outside and with your skincare
Aftercare: It’s important to wear sunscreen diligently and use gentle, hydrating products for a few days. Avoid exfoliants, harsh cleansers, or strong treatments for 3–5 days.
