Our Story
Founded in 2019 by registered nurses Erika and Kayla, Organic Glow began as a passion project rooted in a shared love for dermatology and patient-centred care. First opening in a small single room in Kelowna’s South Pandosy neighbourhood, we grew and transitioned into a trusted destination for high-quality medical aesthetics. By pairing knowledge of skin health with a genuine desire to help people, over time we became known for our professionalism, expertise, and welcoming atmosphere. As of 2021, we have been continuing to build our practice from our boutique clinic in the North End of downtown Kelowna.

Kayla Homulos

Kayla is a Registered Nurse and has gained experience working in both acute care and medical aesthetics. She is certified by the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics and is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. She is a certified Master Hydrafacialist as well as a Clinical Trainer with Inmode. Kayla’s passion lies within creating tailored treatment plans for her clients through combining medical-grade skincare, facial treatments, and injectables. She has put her heart and soul into creating a space where people can leave feeling better than they did walking in. Kayla loves hiking and being outdoors in her spare time, or finding new recipes to try!

Erika Wiklund
owner | registered nurse
Erika is a Registered Nurse from Kelowna, and graduated with a BScN from UBCO. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, and is certified through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. She spent several years working in acute and primary care nursing. She has a passion for education and keeping the client’s needs her top priority. Creating caring relationships and healing unhappy skin are her favourite parts of aesthetics. The Organic Glow clinic is her happy place, but when she’s not working she loves reading, gardening, and being out at her family’s farm.

Abbey Garant
Community lead, registered nurse
Abbey completed her BScN in 2020 at UBCO and has since specialized in Mental Health & Substance Use nursing. Her passion for skin originated from her experience with acne at a young age, and now she hopes to help others heal their skin.
She is looking forward to creating trusting relationships and to make every client look and feel their absolute best! Boosting client’s confidence and wellbeing is her top priority at OGMA.
By helping clients develop a comprehensive approach to their skin goals, she strives to provide the right solution for any client. Abbey enjoys spending all 4 seasons outside, being active and exploring the Okanagan region. She loves time with family, friends, and her puppy Ralph.

Makenna is a passionate Medical Aesthetician dedicated to helping clients achieve their healthiest, most radiant skin. Her journey into skincare began with a love for beauty and skin health, inspiring her to pursue training, where she earned her certifications.
Since graduating in 2022, Makenna has expertise in advanced treatments, including laser therapies, radio frequency, microneedling, and chemical peels. She has expanded her knowledge and refined her skills, transforming her passion into a fulfilling career.
Makenna takes pride in providing personalized care, offering tailored treatment plans and expert education to empower her clients. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels confident and beautiful in their skin.

Avorie Graham
Clinic coordinator
Avorie completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Montreal in 2024, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Education. She is currently preparing for the LSATs with the goal of pursuing law school in the future.
Her passion for skincare began with her own struggles with and journey overcoming acne, which ultimately inspired her to join the team at Organic Glow. Having first been a client herself, Avorie now loves being on the other side of the desk—welcoming patients, supporting their skincare journeys, and celebrating as they gain confidence in themselves.
You’ll find Avorie at our front desk, greeting patients as they walk in. She supports the clinic’s day-to-day operations, helping everything run smoothly while ensuring each visit feels welcoming, comfortable, and cared for. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends, getting lost in a good book, and exploring the outdoors with her dogs.

Dr. Hannah Gibson
Physician
Dr. Hannah Gibson is a family doctor specializing in medical aesthetics.
She loves the artistry in cosmetic medicine, and will work with you to enhance your natural beauty.
Her favourite part of aesthetic medicine is creating relationships based on trust and delivering stunning individualized results.
Outside of clinic, you’ll find Dr Gibson skiing, biking or on the lake with her dogs!
Dr. Richard Van Der Ross

Dr. Richard van der Ross has been a practicing physician for 23 yrs having worked in the UK, Namibia, South Africa and Canada.
He has his specialist designation in family practice and anesthesia.
He continues to practice as a general practitioner and hospitalist in Kelowna.
His special interests are mastery of medicine, functional medicine and medical aesthetics.
For fun, he loves backcountry running and any water sport.
Outside of clinic, you’ll find Dr Gibson skiing, biking or on the lake with her dogs!
Kristy Hodgins
registered dietitian
Kristy is a Registered Dietitian with 12 years of nutrition experience working in a variety of areas, including acute care in hospital, diabetes, weight management, disordered eating, gastrointestinal health, oncology, and general healthy eating. After having completed a BSc in Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan, an 8-month internship, and a nationally accredited licensing exam, her career took her across Canada before setting down in Kelowna in 2016. Kristy is passionate about plant-based nutrition, gastrointestinal health, and how nutrition impacts our skin.
Hint: these all go together! Skin has always been a passion, so learning how nutrition plays a role in prevention of skin aging, damage, and overall promoting healthy glowing skin from the inside became a priority, especially in the Kelowna sun! I strive to provide you with individualized nutritional counselling, answer your questions and make nutrition easy for you! In her spare time, Kristy enjoys the outdoors, trying new restaurants and wines, or staying in and cooking!
