How long does Laser hair removal last?
Laser hair removal is a semipermanent hair removal method. Hair follicles are permanently damaged, but new ones may arise over time and should be managed with treatments as needed.
How many laser hair removal treatments do I need?
Number of sessions is highly variable, depending on skin type, hair type, area of treatment, and desired outcomes. Typically we see 6-12 sessions for best results.
How often should I need laser hair removal treatments?
Depending on the area of treatment, and the progression of your treatment, you will need to have sessions done 4-8 weeks apart.
Is laser hair removal painful?
Discomfort with laser hair removal sessions depends on the area of treatment, the DiolazeXL is designed to be far more tolerable than other technologies and is paired with built in cooling to reduce sensation and risk of burns.
How can I prepare for my laser hair treatment?
- To prepare for your Diolaze XL™ laser hair removal treatment, make sure that you’ve showered and removed oils, fragrances, creams, serums, and lotion from your body.
- Shave the areas within 24 hours before the treatment.
- Do not wax, sugar, tweeze, bleach or chemically remove hair in the treatment area between sessions, or 4 weeks prior to the first session.
- Avoid unprotected sun exposure, sun burns, or tanning beds for 4 weeks before.
- Discuss with the clinic if you are using irritating or photosensitizing topical agents prior to booking
What precautions should I take after a laser hair removal treatment?
Sunscreen should be used diligently for 3 weeks following the treatment.
Fragrance-free moisturizer may be applied after each treatment.
Makeup may be applied immediately after facial treatment if skin is comfortable.
